Reviews of Cafes in Gdansk
Finally I found my pub in Gdansk...!
great place
Loved it!!
super!
Awesome cafe!! A friend took me there and I didn't want to leave...
A very cool place, fantastic atmosphere, perfect for burring oneself with a book for hours, sipping coffee and munching a delicious cake...loved it!
Excellent hot chocolate in a superb ambience
We tried pretty much all the cafes and liked this one the most.
Without any doubts ,best coffee in Gdansk - the atmosphere of the place is just simply amazing ! :D
Without a doubt, the best coffee shop in the Old Town. Warm, cozy and friendly. I live in Gdansk and go there at least once a week. When you visit, don't miss it. It's that good.
Atmospheric cafe. A cosy respite from the snows outside!
well... that was sth I did not expect... found by chance, took me by an overwhelming surprise with its stunning, uncanny and almost magnetic atmosphere. wish I could back there..
A cosy little charmer, and a pretty nifty array of beverages...
The best place in the world! A piece of Heaven in the Earth...
Nice little spot this. Quirky style. Perfect for a chill/beer session...
Nice little spot. Not geared at tourists, so refreshing...
Considering this is billed as a cocktail bar I was very surprised. I stopped for coffee and cake in the afternoon and felt as if I has stumbled into a supermarket/department store cafeteria. I didn't notice any cocktails but there were folks laden with shopping and children in tow.
Considering this is on the main strip I was dissapointed. Waitresses unhelpful, I didnt see a cocktail on the menu? You have to pay for the toilet too!!!
Lovely cafe and the friendly waitress gave us an amazing contact for an apartment to rent for the night. You really feel like you have been coming here for years, everyone was so happy and nice. Thanks guys.
I worked opposite this place for a time. One of the pleasures of working in this area was the opportunity to scoot across the road and take an hour off for cakes and coffee. The ideal hiding place, loved it!
One of the best place for having a coffee in Gdansk. Great coffee and lot of choice. You just need to be lucky for finding a place there because it's always full.
Please open one in London....save us from this Starbucks shite with cellophane wrapped rubbish cakes...and other places where you can't get a hot drink after 6pm. Loved it!
Awesome place - Kafka would be proud...
Nice place, but not the best in town. Cosy, good chocolate and coffee. Dirty toilett.
the greatest tea house in Gdañsk! Wonderful climate. The best way to spend friday evening with friends or partner.
We went in there during a very cold Saturday morning walk around Gdansk in November. Lovely coffee, lovely hot chocolate, nice atmosphere, very relaxed. Like Gdansk in general, very very good!!
My friend Irek told me about this place in Gdansk. I suppose it's a place I surely visit when I visit him :)
The best cafe in Gdansk ! Monika, please.....
Such a nice place with such a good tea, but with terrible service. What's a shame, that this girl with blond hair who work there is such impolite person... My advice to owner of this tea - room: please, employ people who like other people. Blond hair girl was naughty three times, when I had bought tea. My reflection after shopping was: she must have all time Premenstrual syndrome!!!!
After a brisk jaunt in the wrong direction down Haffera street, I found this delightfully-dim drinking den just round the corner of the main drag and up a small flight of stairs. Lo and behold I discovered to my immense pleasure one vacant chair by the bar that looked for all the world as if it had been reserved especially for me, armed as I was, not with company of any kind, but just a slim paperback volume of On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Despite being immersed in the world of hard-drinking British agents, I did a very un-Bond-like thing and ordered an alcohol-free cynnamon infusion - which I must confess, like every other type of fancy tea I've ever tasted flattered to deceive with sweet aromas leading to not much more than a bland watery taste. But no matter. This establishment was first class. Some suitably obscure piano music was unobtrusively occupying the background whilst two large mounds of sensuous female flesh, topped with a smile, flirtatiously occupied the foreground. At least whenever the waitress was in attendance. After a couple of chapters of dodging bullets and bad-guys I was feeling one hundred percent refreshed and ready to leave this winsome watering hole and wander into the night. Hopefully soon to return...
The Krzywy Domek isn't an office building! There's cafes, a chinese take away, a nightclub and some shops inside. It's funny, everyone seems to spend so long staring at the front that they never go inside! The Cafe Zascianek is really nice, though. Very cosy.
We are sending Greetings from Bremen to Gdansk and dreaming of the wonderful atmosphere of the Pi Kawa and Smell of the delicious cakes and coffees there. :)
This is a great place to go if you're alone and want to get some work done, read the paper or a magazine, or just reflect over a cup of coffee...the friendly service puts you at ease, and even though it's usually packed, the people are quiet and calm, secure in the knowledge that they've found a place to call their own.
Friendly service in English. Outdoor tables in good weather (I like to get a pot of tea and watch people go by). Free internet hot spot. Very near St. Nicholas (Sw. Mikolaj) Church, a very old and well-preserved church, so a smart meeting place for tourists.
I've never seen a coffee shop with so many people inside...it was almost wierd...but the coffee was real good, so check it out...
Someone told me that the best Polish food still comes from the kitchen, rather than the restaurant, but I don't know if the same holds true for desserts. They were awesome here, and in every other cafe I've been to.
There are lots of places to enjoy a cup of coffee in Gdansk, but the creamy coffees here have risen to the top...just plain good, and a casualness thats missed in most Cafes.
It is the best coffee shop in gdansk for shure. Great coffee, but also try the ice tea home maid, delicious... The servesses are also very beautiful, and you maybe meet them at the parlament, a underground disco nearby;).
Cafe Rosenthal is a stylish place. And you can drink delicious coffee or tea in an elegance porcelain .Very nice staff, good service .Wonderful!!!
its the best place in Sopot and in The Trujmiasto in general!!!!! its wanderful, cool!! really the pleasent place!! :))))
I came by here when I were in town last week and had a great time.Excellent coffee and very nice staff. It's an escape from the crowds on the Monte Cassino Str.
There's only one Cafe Jozef
A beautiful place with some melancholic sounds and a very good choice of coffee. This is, in my opinion, the best of Gdansk' cafes and therefore always full.Super!!!!
this is my second time here... better than the first! this city gets cooler and cooler everyday.
My favourite place!Cosy atmosphere you realy can feel like home!Cushions on couches, tree in the middle of the main hall...Kafka would like it,I'm sure:)Congratulations for the friendly staff-they all enjoy their work:-)))
yes, excellent. The same cafe like in Antwerp belgium
Miejsce bardzo sympatyczne, wystroj stylowy,a do tego pyszna szarlotka cos wspanialego.
Good place. Cool feel and cool people. Excellent find.
I came to this joint right after seeing that 'twisted house'- just like you guys mentioned. Weird. it aws quite hot and this place provided some much needed shade. I didn't get to buy any art but I did meet some really cool locals. Polish girls drive me crazy! Lots of cool cats in there - staff was cool too.
