If you want to dodge old world kitsch and settle into something a tad more upbeat, why not go and say hello to the Elephant on Dlugi Targ? They've built a reputation for being one of the top spots in the city, and they'll serve you up delectable European dishes in a stylish modern atmosphere. Favourites include Baked Sole or Goulash Soup, and prices are fairly reasonable for such a central location. A final perk is the music - jazz fans will be delighted to discover that there are regular concerts, and in Summer you can sit out in the garden and sip a cocktail. Worth a try.

Our favourite place in Gdansk! Great cocktails every time! And the live music they have! Amazing place! The service is also very good
I was with friends . Music poorly chosen,some of food tasteless , drinks while perfectly matched . Bartender saved the whole impression.
However, a friend told me after the fact that this place is cheating , and I got angry and receipt of these restaurants do not pay tax.
Special place in Gdansk, beautiful interior, comfortable couch. Nice and communicative waiter. Pasta was all right but pork tenderloin in strawberry sauce delicious! It's worth going there !

Worst food I have had in Poland. Do not order the shrimp. They were not good, we sent them back, the server tried to charge us. I was sick all night. Soup was from powder. Duck, do not order, over cooked and dry, with frozen microwaved vegetables. Enough said.

This proved to be a hidden Gem! The food,service and atmosphere were first class and I highly recommend it. Please go see for yourself
Very modern, stylish, immaculate, but not without atmosphere despite the fact that I was there mid-week and out of season. The service was excellent as was the selection of drinks available. Don't be fooled - this place looks naff from the outside but you won't be disappointed.
The outside does not do this place justice. A great pub with friendly waiteress speaking english. You MUST order a Mojito when in here. It was brought to the table on fire!!! I have never seen a flaming Mojito before and it was minty fresh!
This place looks amazing and from what i gathered pondering upon the menu: the food is cheap, however: every single pub, pub-club or night club in Polska has Tyskie, Lech, Zywiec, Zubr etc Why this place does not bewilders me! That was the sole reason i ventured elsewhere and had an amazing meal accompanied with Tyskie in PRIMITIVE: a superb prehistoric inspired restaurant just around the corner! I would definitely recommend it to students as you have Piwo gratis! : )
