Back in Blighty the curry has long since replaced the Sunday roast as the nation's favourite dish, thanks to hundreds of quality restaurants opened by immigrants through the years. Here in Masala you'll find plenty of examples of the dish that has Brits watering at the mouth (and eyes!) to choose from, as well as other offerings from the Far East, such as Thai and Chinese cuisine. In fact the enticing smells of cumin, tumeric, cardamom, coriander and of course chili are sure to lure you in more than any words of ours! You can find Masala near the rear entrance of the Madison Shopping Centre.

it's the best but there is a short rude waiter the one with black eyebrow and hair like a horse tail the others all perfect
I cant agree with all the comments over. The service was splendid and the waitress was very good in english and also very nice.
The food is brilliant but the only problem is the rude waitresses. It just spoils your mood when the waitresses in Masala disrespect you. The chefs are nice and the Indian food is best in Gdansk but I dont prefer to go there to eat in because of the rude waiting staff. Now I just take takeaways from their as I like their food.
Rating 10/10 for food and 0/10 for hospitality.
It was my birthday so I decided to celebrate my birthday with my Polish Friends in Masala. Tellu you the truth the way Cook and the waitress behaved it was so disgusting, as an Indian I've decided not to ever go to Masala. I told about it to the owner but still nothing happened still the same. So I want to rate - 1 star.
I spent some days in Gdansk, heard about this Restaurant Masala. So I decided a try :) The food was really good,
I ordered a starter Pakora, Chicken tikka, Naan with butter was the best (world class) could have been better service, but yes would like to recommend this restaurant.
I will definitely visit this place next time I travel to Gdansk :)
This place is incredible. The place is modest with decent service, but most of all, the food is incredible- particularly the Indian dishes. Amazing flavour, prepared to your liking. The chefs seem experienced, and the food is a reflection of this. I would recommend this to any lover of Indian cuisine!
Was there today and had the Tikka Masala, the food was very good, but I can not give them the full score, because in my view, the staff did not perform good enough service. But anyway if you like Indian food, I would recommend the place.
We had been to this restaurant couple of times with family and the quality of the food is really good. We are vegetarians and my comments are after having the veg food.
Indian Nan, Channa masala ( you have to request them to make with more gravy) Paneer Butter Masala, pappadams, Jeera rice are good choice to try. Service is good and friendly. Good place to dine
It is a very good restaurant and delcious food there espically the rise and chicken in red cary (mm) i still remember this nice moment with my great female Ola :*
What a find! Really good Indian food, which is pretty rare to find anywhere in Poland, and the only curry house I found in Gdansk. Are there any others? Some really interesting things on the menu. May have to go back to sample the rather weird sounding duck masala!
I visited Masala during my Poland visit this year. I was fed up of eating boiled and lethargic food as i am a vegetarian. My friend took me too Masala and We ordered "Sahi Paneer" & "Plain Butter Naan + Paneer Naan" (Paneer is like Feta cheese). It was so delicious even it could have beat super resuturent in India. You must try Masala if you are in Gdansk and want to try Indian good.
Absolutely agreed with Mr. Deepak, we had just visited GDANSK as my daughter has joined in GDANSK medical university, Masala"s food is awesome, waitress was also very friendly, better than anotherone Indian restaurant Mantra. Can anyone suggest me is there any Indian grocerry store over there?
