Reviews of Shopping in Gdansk
Mediocre by western standards. Mostly Polish local brands. Several empty stores indicate problems with brand names and traffic.
Yes so tru
It was a good place to visit
Bought pants from shop called "4You". After hour of usage they began to fell apart. Tried to take them back and return them but the clerk told me that they wont take them back or change them and if I wan't to make a complain they can fix the pants and I can pick them up in 14 days. As a piece of advice: buy your stuff from bigger chains that realize the term: customer service and satisfaction.
Good location, 5'minitus walking from the beach, lots of free security parking, easy access from DT Gdynia, Sopot ,Gdansk by train. Nice shopes friendly people ,lots of cafes and very clean!
cool place to shop, good range of clothing and good prices
Great place and full of character, very Polish! will be back soon!
great centre with lots of parking
excellent shopping centre...great location only 5 mins walk from sopot beach..great xx
You won't find a great selection of music here (and the CDs are way overpriced), but there are English-language books and magazines available, as well as electronic gadgets to play with.
Good selection
Typical shopping centre, lots of shops and a good place for souvenirs
The wife loved it, my wallet didn't.
The prices and selection are comparable to most H&Ms, but it's still a great choice for a shopping trip if you are staying in Gdansk for a while.
Empik's the best! Grabbed a travel diary and some pens. Couldn't resist Discopolo Greatest Hits in the bargain bin.
Same H&M clothing you'll find all over Europe, but the exchange rate makes shopping here a bargain compared to H&Ms in the eurozone!
An exellent last day of our holiday, great place to pick up a few souviniers as well as some labels. Range of shops, some quite expensive and an exellent cafe on the bottom floor. Recommeded!
Great clothing and even better prices - I shop here all the time and the fashions are always great!
I Want To Buy Your Making Things But I Lived So Far Please Help Me
The W H Smith-meets-Blackwells of Poland!
I recived a wooden plate as a gift from your shop ,which was lovely, and I wanted to have a look at other crafts that you do so I visited your website. I think your crafts are beautiful.
Dear sir/madam, I would like to thank all the staff in Empik store in Gdynia for all their help. My Polish is very poor but everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Magdalena Kwiatykowska. Please wish them all a Wesolych Swiat I Nowego roku. Michal Dreczkowski od Wielki Brytanii.
Brits will follow if I describe this place as a Polish WHSmith. They stock quite a few British papers, though they'll be at least a day old. They don't have music shops in Poland so you have to come here if you want to keep your finger on the local soft-rock pulse. A veritable archive of the works of Bryan Adams/Tina Tuner as one would expect.
Much differnt, I would say better, style than the H+M's I've seen in America. More unique finds, even if the selection is a little smaller.
I stayed here for two hours (thanks baby). Though I have to admit, there were some pretty cool rags.
