What sounds like a quaint family apartment service run by a friendly, albeit monolingual, babushka called Olga, is in fact one of Kiev's biggest flat letting agency, with over eight hundred apartments for hire in the city centre. These are no musty Soviet flats either: state of the art facilities typically include high speed internet access, satellite TV and air-conditioning, and some of the luxury studios and apartments even boast their own private saunas. That'll put the blood back in your toes, even during a Kyiv winter!

Do not rent the apartment in Kiev with "Olga Apartments". We were so unlucky to rent a 1-room apartment with them at Grinchenka Borysa 2 that is in the center of Kiev. The apartment was extremely dirty (including bed linen and towels), and had a terrible smell of smoke, even in the bed. There were either ice-cold or boiling hot water in the shower cabinet, that also was very dirty. We arrived late at night and could not wait until next morning to move out of that terrible place. Since we paid in advance for 2 days, we asked manager Olga about a refund for 1 day, but were denied it.
We was extremely disappointed when we rented an apartment with \"OLGA Apartments\". They did not give us the one with had chosen and prepaid, instead we were given a terrible apartment at MIKHAILPVSKIY LANE 7 (it was dirty and smell very bad, poorly furnished and fool of mosquitos), and because it was late night we didn\'t have any other alternative just wait until 6 a.m. to move out and try to find some Hotel.
