Zip-line Opens in Kiev

A new attraction for locals and visitors alike has opened in central Kiev, drawing crowds eager to zoom across the Dnipro river at speeds up to 60 kilometres per hour. Its a zip-line, installed 50 metres above the river and capable of zipping riders from one bank to the other in nearly 60 seconds.

All thats needed is safety gear and a harness, and the 550 metre trip across the river, running parallel to the pedestrian bridge leading to Trukhaniv island, can be enjoyed by people of any age. Try it for yourself by joining the queue by the Friendship of Nations Arch. The cost is Hr 150 per person.

The Kiev zip-line will be open throughout the summer, weather permitting.
