Babuin, known to expats as both 'Baboon' and 'The Stoned Baboon', is an eclectic venue that casts its net far and wide to encapsulate all that is good about the great indoors. Essentially a cafe/bar, Babuin is also a bookshop and an eaterie and on top of that it hosts a rich events programme. Art exhibitions, book signings, literary discussions, concerts, DJ nights and even kids events all regularly appear on the venue's agenda. With free WiFi and decently-priced refreshments no wonder everyone's babblin' about Babuin. If you can't get enough either then check out monkey brothers, Antresol and Kvartyra.
