Editor's review
Kołobrzeg city hall is a C-shaped Neo-Gothic building, erected in 1830's according to a project of a renowned Prussian architect Karol Fryderyk Schinkel . The first, gothic seat of the magistrate was destroyed in 1807 during the Napoleonic siege. During WW II the building got more lucky, as it survived severe gunfire untouched. Until today the tower clock strikes hours and quarters. Today the city hall houses not only the magistrate, but also the Civil Registry Office and the Contemporary Art Gallery. Also, don't miss a cafe and a music club down in the historical cellar.
