Travelling to Kolobrzeg
Depending on your personal preference, you can choose between three options: car, train and coach. Unfortunately, there are no plane connections to and from Kolobrzeg, and the closest airport is located in Gdansk.
By car
If you're arriving to Kolobrzeg by car, you will probably need one of 3 major access roads to Kolobrzeg:
No. 11 - from the east
No. 163 - from the south
No. 102 - from the west

By coach
Kolobrzeg's coach station is right in the centre of Kolobrzeg, opposite the train station. Bearing in mind the not always efficient Polish railway, a coach might be the right solution to get in and out of the city, especially if you're heading for some minor towns in Poland.

By train
Though Polish trains have been somewhat a notoriety among foreign guests, the fact remains that a train connection is the most comfortable way to get to Kolobrzeg, especially when you travel from afar. Here at Local Life we recommend choosing an overnight connection, so you can start beaching the first thing in the morning. Starting from June the Polish Railways throw in a few extra summer connections to the timetable, so getting to the seaside is really nothing.
The approximate distance to Kolobrzeg from major cities in Poland:
Krakow 642 km (15.50 h by train, 12.16 h by car)
