There may still be laws about carting off antiques, but there are no holds barred when it comes to exporting contemporary art. Cracow is overflowing with talented artists and it's always worth dropping into the galleries for a glance at what's new. This large gallery is stacked with lively-looking creations. You'll find it just north of the Main Market Square opposite the nineteenth century Grand Hotel. They specialize in paintings by Polish artists, but there is usually a smattering of intriguing scupltures too. Worth investigating.
