Editor's review
Drop by the Zderzak Gallery for a peek at current goings on in Cracow's contemporary art scene. This centrally located nook can be found on the northern stretch of Cracow's Royal Way. The legendary enterprise has been hosting exhibitions since 1985 - first as an underground, anti-communist stronghold - and they've also branched out into the world of publishing. Owner Marta Tarabula is renowned for her exceptional nose for sniffing out talent, and she discovered some of the most celebrated names in Polish contemporary art. Ring the buzzer at Florianska 3.

Zderzak is well worth visiting if you are into contemporary Polish art. Bit difficult to find (up a long flight of stairs!) but some real treasures there from time to time. Try and pick out some new talent before they become too expensive!

Excellent range of work by some top Polish artists. Bujnowski et al well represented, and offering interesting investments for art purchasers. In 10 years time, some of these names will be as well known as Tracy Emin - at least they deserve to be!
Not easy to find - you have to ring a doorbell in a corridor then go up a few flights of stairs. The art was great but not as cheap as I had hoped - I guess it's getting well known already and I'm too late!
