A zaczek is a friendly old term that was used to describe a student here in Cracow, a city which has indeed provided a home to students since 1364. At this official university club you can throw yourself into the student spirit, and beer aficionados will not be disappointed by the prices. Opened just a few years ago, Zaczek hosts all kinds of high calibre events, from rock concerts by top notch rock bands to salsa and African weekends. There are also film screenings and regular art exhibitions.
