The Cherry Orchard
Fri 1st
Jul
20:00 - 22:00
The Cherry Orchard has lived a double life since it premiered in Moscow in 1904. Written by Anton Chekhov as a comedy, it was first presented as a tragedy and has fallen into both genres ever since.
This performance will actually take place at the National Theatre in London, but it will be beamed in HD live to Krakow. It stars Zoë Wanamaker, and is directed by Howard Davies who has chosen the comedy route this time around.
