Loh-Koh-Moh-Tor

Ziemowit Kmiec’s first solo exhibition at Zderzak draws inspiration from a magic spell for moving inanimate objects and combines the physical and the metaphysical.

In some cases, as with the stopped clock, the artist seems to be freezing time itself, while others suggest a sensuality drawn from combinations of body parts and geometric shapes.

Two-dimensional images and 3D installations are displayed, in the artist’s own words, in a manner that encloses the exhibition in a subtle geometry dominated by circular elements.
