The New York Metropolitan Opera’s live international broadcasts have been a massive hit, not least in Krakow where Kino Kijow has been providing regular opportunities to see some of the greatest singers perform the best-loved operas.

This month is Rossini’s last comic opera, a comedy of errors, lust and cross-dressing in a France of knights and ladies.
