The music festival with sharper claws and a softer tread than most begins this year as it means to go on, with a series of shocks and thrills.
The opener will be a marathon movie session at Kino pod Baranami. The playlist is set to include Future Shock (1972, US, dir. Alexander Grasshoff), the mind-twisting Soviet animation Journey To The Stars (1981, Roman Kachanov), a vision of a post-apocalyptic future in No Blade of Grass (1970, UK, Cornel Wilde), and Yasuharu Hasebes very silly but eminently watchable tale of nuclear superheroes and pollution monsters, Spectreman (1971, Japan).
