Joanna Piech

A presentation of the long-term achievements of 2009 International Print Triennial Grand Prix winner Joanna Piech is long overdue, thankfully something that is remedied with this exhibition. Piech has specialised in developing the arts of linocut and woodcut, and while she journeys through techniques and styles, there are some motifs to which she seems always to return – and the human form is one element that is integral to almost everything she produces.
