Poland and the Habsburgs

This is a truly extraordinary collection of documents that illustrate the role of Polish MPs in the time of the Habsburg Empire, from the Spring of Nations to the dissolution of Austria-Hungary. Among the exhibits are letters, records of speeches, photographs, sketches and more, all of which shed a unique light on the inner workings of the political system in Poland from 1848-1918, and could perhaps even offer suggestions as to developments in modern Europe as a whole. Especially relevant to Krakow and the Malopolska region, this is the first time that such an exhibition has been staged.
