Three mountaineers from Zakopane and Chicago sing songs about love, betrayal and other human experiences with a reserved distance and lots of humor. Megitza Trio is a Polish folk band that also incorporates elements of American folk, a virtuoso Romanian-style accordion, and three harmonious voices – all of which are interweaved with electro-trance beats. Megitza Trio has released two studio albums. The latest album, “Happy Metal,” was published in 2016. The muscians play on traditional and electronic instruments, making their music have a universal and approachable appeal.
