Krzysztof Majchrzak: A concert to accompany ONNA

FREE CONCERT

On 11 March, Krzysztof Majchrzak will be performing a *FREE* inspired jazz instrumental concert to accompany the exhibition: "ONNA - Beauty, strength, ecstasy".

Krzysztof Majchrzak now resides permanently in France and is coming to Krakow especially to perform this concert. He is a musician, a composer & a music producer who has been recognized as one of the most creative musicians in Europe. He studied classical double bass, but as a means of artistic expression chose the electric bass and guitar in the 80s while actively participating in the creation of a new wave of Polish jazz. Majchrzak has played in such formations as "Tie Break", "New Jazz Band" and the" Symphonic Sound Orchestra ". He has also collaborated with some of the world leaders in music such as Grant Calvin Weston, Pete Drungle, Warren Benbow, Philippe "Pipon" Garcia, Tom Bergeron, Michel Godard, Walter Lang & Rick Hollander.  Krzysztof's musical universe is located at the crossroads of different cultures, from contemporary music through Harmolodic, experimental & ethnic, from progressive rock fusion through to open.

This concert coincides with the date of the Japanese Tsunami.
