Easter Basket Blessing

On the eve of Easter it is Polish Tradition to have your Easter Basket Blessed. This basket should contain food that you will eat on Easter morning. Traditional items are as follows: Butter, Sausage, Bread, Salt, Ham, a candle, Eggs, Cheese, and Bacon, often covered by a crocheted doily. All churches Krakow will do this but the one at St. Marys is so beautiful. It does get a bit crowded but is worth it.
