Seeing yourself // Mobile Photography Workshop

A Japanese astronaut took a picture in space. However, he did not turn the lens towards the stars or the blue of the Earth. He directed him at himself...

We will not go into space, but we will talk together about what "selfie" photography is and when it started. How much does it have in common with the long history of the self-portrait? We will discuss if it is a kind of "mirror" or more creation? Can it be a method of visual conversation? Or maybe a way to illustrate the changes of our "internal" world?

Using smartphones, we will use the space around the historic Shooting Range and our own creative inventiveness to perform custom selfie.
