Polish American Christmas Dinner // Eataway

Growing up in a Polish home in the US, Christmas was always very special - especially the food! Come and share in the traditional foods of Poland and the US on the very special day :)

About the Cook

"I am a psychologist who moved to Poland from the US over 3 years ago with my husband. Following his death, I moved around Poland a bit but now I am back in Krakow - the most beautiful city in Poland! I have always loved to cook and worked for a catering company while attending college. I still love hosting people at my home and cooking for them while sharing stories. My parents are originally from Poland and it has always been my dream to live in Poland and now I am fulfilling that dream.

I have learned some of the ins and outs of Gdansk and other Polish cities and would be very happy to share some tips with you as well as sharing a meal. Whether making homemade Polish food taught to me by my mother and grandmothers, or American classics - especially Tex-Mex fare - I find sharing food with strangers makes you friends instantly."

About Eataway

Shared meals in Poland are a magical affair. Families gather together to prepare and consume feasts of customary dishes, to experiment with new cooking ideas, to laugh and make memories.

Polish people adore to grow their own natural produce in their gardens or on their windowsills, to forage in the forest for mushrooms and herbs or to haggle with the village grandmas at the farmers' market. Whether you are a tourist or a local, the best way to immerse yourself in Poland’s true spirit is to experience this magic of fresh produce and friends first hand. This wonderful community are encouraging you to do just that!

Eataway is the international family of food lovers (both creators and eaters) you need in your life. So, pull up a chair. You are invited to experience the joy of Springtime in the warming sun with new friends and family, not to mention a table laden with a delicious meal and fantastic cooking classes!
