Krakow NYE

Hi all, thanks for taking time to check this post. Me and my partner are visiting for the NYE celebrations and would be very grateful to get some advice on the following: -Can anyone recommend a lively, atmospheric and authentic restaurant for NYE itself? We intend eating and 'making merry', before going to the square for the countdown. Also, would we need to book in advance? -What are the customs for New Years Day? Do Krakovians celebrate with family/friends? Will there be places open to celebrate? -which area is recommended to celebrate with locals i.e Jewish Quarter? Any advice and guidance to make our experience as great as possible would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Phil
