coming to Krakow in Sept, and planning a visit to Auchwitz, and have a few questions. How much is the entrance fee? best to go independently or use an organised tour? If going independently whats best form of transport - train or bus?? thanks in advance

It's free entry. Get a train - it's under 10pln return and the organised tours are a ripoff. You don't need a guide - go around alone, the place speaks for itself.
