Hi we are visiting Cracow at easter and have had mixed reports about shops, bars and restaurants being closed.. anyone any idea if everything will be open?

No, not everything will be closed - some things will be open, some won't. I think the museums and national monument are likely to be closed on Easter Sunday and Monday as they're public holidays, but you won't starve.

on easter sunday most places will be closed, with the exception of some restaurants and some grocery stores. on easter monday, most places except for government offices will be open again

I've been doing a bit of research and it looks like pretty much everywhere will be open. Don't worry!
