Which carnival?

the winter carnival ... it is usually in January or early February. I think it runs for about one week.

Do you mean the Christmas market? I don't know of any carnivals in the winter...

I don't know the exact dates this year, but in general it begins on either the last weekend of November or the first weekend of December, and runs through New Year's Day.
