A fully-featured modern hotel just outside the Planty, Wyspianski is an ideal mid-range hotel to base yourself during a break in Cracow. Prices are moderate for good, clean accommodation which is ideal for groups and larger bookings. Just a five minute walk from the Main Market Square (Rynek), Hotel Wyspianski also offers full conference and outside catering facilities.

Came to the city without any reservations made. I went online and found this AMAZING hotel for a great price. I am a bigger guy and was by myself so I got the single cheapest room. The room was great. The shower on the other hand didn't leave much room for turning around in. I would recommend this to anyone. Just a few mins walk from almost ANYWHERE in the CITY.
Hotel was just what we wanted for a 3 day stay. he location is fantastic. A nice leisurely walk to the center of the city.
Would highly recomend this hotel spotlesly clean. Location could not be better 5mins walk to square and about 10mins to main railway station
Good hotel, very well priced. The only complain would be that during our stay it was packed with school children, so it wasn't the quietest of all hotels I've stayed in.
We stayed her in October 2009 on our very first visit to the wonderful city of Krakow. A fabulous breakfast, lovely and adequate rooms, friendly staff and best of all within easy walking distance to the main market square. Would recommend to anyone.
Breakfast was good and with a wide variety of options for a vegetarian . For the value and location, it is a fine hotel. The rooms are not that big, but very clean and comfortable.
Room ok, but nothing too fancy. Basic and clean. Location superb just few steps away from the Square. Krakow was amazing place and I will be back for sure!
It was a good clean hotel in a central location with a good breakfast. The bathroom was a bit too small.
Perfect location, just two minutes walking to the square. very very clean. staff very charming and ready to help every time you ask
stayed twice at Wyspianski would definately go back -brilliant staff -excellent location spotlessly clean great no -frills hotel !
Didn't spend much time in the hotel as were we on the town, but great to be in middle of town. Cheers, dzenkuye!
Perfect locating - between square and Jewish town, with easy walk to both. Room clean, small but enough for 2, nice people works there.
Great location, only 5 minute walk to the main square. Very close to shops, restaurants, buses & trains. Staff were helpful and all spoke good english. Rooms in the new section were all spotlessly clean and nice and warm. Beds comfortable. Would stay there again
Stayed at the Wyspianski Hotel in March this year on a stag party.Great Hotel, great people these Polish. Very friendly and polite. Only there three nights, but a good place to stay. Nice rooms, good food and very clean.
Well done to all the staff at the Wyspianski.
Just spent three nights at the Wyspianski, great location ,rooms abit on the small side but spotless and quite modern. The reception staff were really helpful. I'd stay again
We were delighted to be so close to the centre. The building is not an oldie, but for location we struck gold. Modern, clean inside. Rates very reasonable. Loved the Planty gardens.
just back from krakow and stayed at the wyspianski. very friendly and helpful staff. breakfast was good. we were only there for 3 nights and ate out in krakow - didnt get to sample the evening meal in the hotel, but it looked good.
rooms were tiny, but as were only there for the 3 nights, it was perfect. very central - close to the christmas market which was absolutely fantastic. only a few minutes walk for the superb galleria krakowsa [?] - nearly 300 shops! will definitely stay there again.
It's almost enough to say that after staying for 3 nights in March '07, I booked the Wyspianski again for 7 nights in November '07. Its a bit off-putting when you first see the 'functionalist' exterior dating from the 1960s, but it's had a complete revamp inside quite recently. Comfort more than luxury is the keynote and the staff are always anzious to please, though in an understated way. A cold buffet breakfast is usually included in the nightly charge, with a good range of meats, cheeses, breads, juices cereals and the inevitable coffee. The restaurant serves a good range of local and internationl cuisine at attractive prices, well worth a visit. Its central location, ten minutes walk from the main railway station and five from the market square, is a big plus. In short, a comfortable hotel with good service at very reasonable charges.
I was in wyspianski 3 years ago with my sons school (120 persons) and every thing was very good. The service incredible when you are so many people.
When I read Jasons review I wonderd if it was the same hotel.
I went to Krakow in May when the temperatures were over 32 degrees!!
Really good hotel. I went with school so it was handy that it is 5 mins walk from the main square so we weren't too tired out. Great food and service. We didn't have a balconi but we did have a massive windowsill that we could sit on! This hotel made the trip very enjoyable, even when we came back from Auschwitz.
If you're anything other than american then this is a perfectly fine place to stay. The price was too good to be true £91 weekend package (3 nights), with a 3 course meal in a local hotel. Go for the upgraded rooms as the write ups for other rooms don't sound so good. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful.
If you are american this is not the place to stay! The people here were very unfriendly towards us and treated us as outsiders. no smiles no please no thank you it had an extremely unfriendly feel. they charged us $80 us dollars for a load of laundry. They charged us $100 for an extra pillow and blanket for my 9 year old daughter, and the bed was already in the room! Breakfast buffet and location were fantastic though.
A really good value hotel. Close to all the sights and sounds of Cracow. Clean and comfortable. Be aware there may be groups of school children staying at this hotel but overall very good indeed.
Stayed from 19th to 25th June.
Really nice clean accomodation.
Our room was front facing with a balcony - had twin beds which was soon put right after a bit of furniture shifting.
The complimentary water was a really nice touch - considering it was 30+ degrees everyday.
Was a 5 minute walk to the main square which was very handy.
My only complaint is that the room did not have air con which in the heat made it quite stuffy with the windows shut - and very noisy with them open because of the trams and quite heavy traffic.
but to be honest after a few of those spectacular Apple Vodkas you really won't care!
Stayed 20th to 24th Feb 2006. Great hotel in a great location for all the sights and train and bus depot. Would recommend and would stay again.
Hi i stayed ther on saturday 28th 2006 fro three nights.it is ok fro short stays clean and comfortable needs a bit of further upgrading , carpets in rooms and general tidying in bathrooms eg tile grout etc, breakfast is good and the resteraunt is superb try the duck with apples, i will stay there again, JR scotland.
Centrally situated, clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, some English speaking, and mouth watering breakfasts. Well recommended.
I have just returned from this excellent hotel. It is very well situated for the centre, is very clean and has really good breakfasts. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are big, clean and extremely comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel.
Quite agree Brenda and Paul, excellent location, very clean, comfy beds, warm, interesting breakfast.
No tea making facilities in room, not the end of the world.Fantastic value for money.
Can only reiterate Brendas review.I stayed back in November and have just returned from a second visit- enough said?
Don't be put off by first appearances. This Hotel is absolutely first class. The staff are friendly and most helpful. The accommodation is very comfortable. The restaurant offers good food at a resonable price. It is literally ten minutes from all main attractions.
