Part of the French Accor group, Ibis Krakow Centrum offers clean, comfortable accommodation within walking distance of all the main Cracow sites, and particularly close to Wawel Castle. All rooms have their own bathrooms, TV and phones, as well as air-conditioning, which can be a life-saver at the height of the summer. There's also a strict policy of segregated smoking and non-smoking floors, as well as a guarded carpark. Friendly, efficient service, and decent prices make this a good all-round choice for visitors to the city. Children sharing rooms with their parents are free and animals are welcome (provided they're not snakes, tarantulas or elephants).

Great value for money, certainly not the Hanging Gardens of Babylon when you look out of the window, but as you are probably here to have a good look about the city if you are paying over £100 a night and looking for Stars above the door you needed certifying. The beauty of staying here is that it is quiet, we met people who stayed in a hotel on the city centre and they said it was like the Wild West outside on Saturday night. The 10-15 minute to the main square was a breeze and we both slept like logs every night. The additional priced breakfast certainly can keep you going all day. Book on line in advance to get a good price.
Great hotel about 10 minutes walk from the main square. Highly recommended as it is reasonably priced and in a lovely quiet area and the staff are helpful and speak good English. Need to pay an extra £5 per person for a continental breakfast, but definitely worth it as it sets you up for the day as you can help yourself to as much as you can eat. Room is clean and walls are thick (can't hear next door) and good power showers. The only negative was that the bed was a bit hard. But would definitely go back and recommend the hotel if you want something basic, reasonably priced, clean and quiet.
Reasonably priced. Very clean. Helpful staff. Good location by the Wawel. Perhaps the only minor issue is that was like all other Ibis's and lacking a little bit of local character. Not an issue though if you spend all day outside of the hotel looking round!
I stayed at the Ibis Krakow Centrum for several nights at the beginning of a trip and then at the end in mid-September 2004. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the restaurant manager was very helpful on a couple of occasions. I had a serious communication problem with my rental car company and the receptionist, who spoke excellent English, made a phone call to the rental company and solved my problem. All of the staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient. They made my visit to Krakow very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a modestly priced hotel, centrally located, with wonderful, friendly staff.
Had a really good stay at this hotel. The rooms are simple, very clean and modern. The staff at the reception and in the bar were really friendly and helpful. Although not as close to the centre as some hotels, was an easy 15 min walk. Would definitely go back.
