Situated in the heart of Kazimierz, the former Jewish quarter of Cracow, and only a few minutes' walk from Wawel Hill and the Main Square. Its great location and intimate atmosphere personify the very essence of Kazimierz style, and the hotel looks a good choice for the business and leisure traveller alike. Regent offers 39 guest rooms, a fine sense of style, as well as a contemporary hotel restaurant serving up international cuisine and fine wine at very reasonable prices. Happy Days - book now!

The five star experience is not about facilities or gyms or anything like that. It is all about the great location and the fantastic people who work here. Nowhere will you get such a warm welcome as you receive from this friendly team. I've stayed here five or six times and people here, no matter what their job, are great!
Właśnie wróciłam z dwudniowego pobytu w Krakowie. Hotel Regent jest w świetnej lokalizacji z przemiłą obsługą i atmosferą.
My wife and I have visited Krakow 4 times and stayed in the same hotel each time....need i say more...as all reviewers have stated, Ideal location, cheery, helpful staff, lack of tea and coffee making facilites, interesting breakfast and although a beer garden, it is open, but the immediate area around Hotel Regent as everything you need for wining and dining
Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your review of our property.
We are really glad that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel.
Kind regards
Malgorzata Badocha
Great Hotel good location. Staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Loads of places to eat and drink locally in the Jewish Quarter. Only 20 minute walk to the main square. Tram and bus links within 100metres. Would definitely stay here again.
Perfect Location.
Room very clean, kind and helpfull staff, enjoyed our stay.
Tip: For you dinner and late drink do not leave the jewish quarter. Plenty of good choise.
We ate marvellous in Villa Kazimierz, Raj(ul Meiselsa) and in the Brewerie.
GOOD LOCATION. KEPT CLEAN AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.THE BED WAS NOISY.ASKED FOR EXTRA BLANKETS BECAUSE THE TIME OF YEAR (january).SATELLITE TV WAS POLISH, FRENCH AND GERMAN, I THINK.
What a great stay we had at the Regent. The staff were so kind when I fell and had to go to hospital. The hotel is is the historic Jewish Quater with lovely bars and restaurants nearby. Absolutely recommended!
Superb! Fantastic! Not a bad start to a review. My wife and I stayed March 8th-11th 2006. This hotel was a perfect base to explore Krakow. Superb, clean en suite facilities. Fantastic restaurant with the best food i have ever tasted on my travels. They even prepare a packed lunch for you at your request so you can explore the city and not go hungry!
No language problems at all as everyone speaks a smattering of English. The only thing which stops this wonderful hotel getting my maximum 5 out of 5 was the lack of coffee making facilities in the bedroom. It would have been wonderful to come back into our room after a hard day exploring and make a lovely warm coffee! This slight prob can be easily overcome by taking your own travel kettle.
A highly recommended hotel indeed.
We found this a very good hotel for the money. The situation was convenient and staff very helpful. Large room with excellent bathroom. Comfortable, non squeaky beds. We would go back there.
We stayed here for three nights 19 - 22 Nov 2005 and used this hotel as our base. Hotel staff very friendly and most helpful, bedrooms and bathrooms spotless and food very good. As we had arrived early our luggage was locked away until the room was ready and arranging a taxi for the one that we had booked ourself and did not turn up,was no poroblem. We will return in the Spring or Autumn to see more of this wonderful country .
Where are the rooms that look like your picture??? Our room bore no resemblence whatsoever. However, it was a clean, friendly hotel, bathroom was good, nice shower, etc., but the beds!!! When you moved they made the most awful noise, creaked and groaned. We could hear other people turning over in bed because their beds made the same awful noises!! We spoke to another couple who said the same. Breakfast was fine, no complaints and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room though could have done with refurbishing, the carpet was badly stained as was the carpet in the hallway. After looking at the pictures on the internet I can say that the rooms are nothing like the pictures! We had a nice stay though all in all and were able to do everything we wished to do, Auschwitz, the Salt Mine and Wawel Castle etc etc. As we were only there for three nights the beds were a cause of amusement but any longer and it would have been a problem. The taxi's from the hotel were good, the driver's all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is not far from the main square really, about a good 15 minute walk. If I visited again I would want a hotel with a better room, but for three days it was ok
Clean and well kept. Our room was small but with big bathroom & a hallway.
Hotel arranged for taxis to and from airport (55 - 70 zl).
Problems fixed (e.g. light bulbs) with no fuss.
10-15 minutes walk from the Old Town
Would strongly recommend the packed lunches for trips (e.g. Auschwitz) 10 zl for each lunch (2 filled rolls, chocolate biscuit, fruit, yoghurt & drink). Has to be ordered the night before.
Because it is small hotel no real place to relax (e.g. bar/lounge/swimming pool)
We visited Krakow over Easter with a friend: the hotel had a special room offer. The manageress at reception could not have been more helpful, offering a free coffee whilst we waited ten minutes for the room to be prepared. The three bed room has a separate dressing area and a spacious powerful shower room with plently of hooks, shelves and mirrors. The location is good: turning left you walk to a number of trendy and fun bars and then a bunch of restaurants, or right brings you to Wawel castle and eventually to the market square. On leaving the hotel, our bags had been loaded onto the waiting taxi again supervised by the very helpful manageress
Although I arrived at the early hour of 6am, the very friendly reception made sure I had a room immediately. I was surprised to find the room was very large, inviting and very comfortable. The bathroom was particularly large, clean and one of the nicest I have ever had in Europe. Everything I needed was brought to me immediately by the friendly and helpful staff, who are always ready to help. I will definitely be staying at the RT Regent this year when I come back for a longer stay in Krakow!
