With about 30 private rooms and 85 beds available, Trzy Kafki offers cheap, straightforward accommodation without frills at a budget price, just about 15 minutes' walk from the Rynek (Market Square). It has been quite a popular destination for backpackers and student travellers to Cracow, and has decent facilities on-site, no curfews, and discounts for groups. There's a laundry service, and on-site internet access for just 3 zloty per hour. Check out their website (adjacent) for latest offers and price list.

The Trzy Kafki, (Little Bird), is a very friendly, very clean hostel which happens to be a pleasant walk to the always exciting city center with constant activities and festival like events occuring nearly every evening.
If you have a passion for the native foods of Poland or even the best Italian food I've ever tasted "Mama Mias" just ask friendly staff for directions, always just a few minutes walk from the hostel.
I stay there every summer and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Krakow.
