Maltanski is an intimate and comfortable hotel, overlooking the greenery of the Planty Gardens, and in close proximity to the Royal Wawel Castle, the Krakow Philharmonia and the Rynek (Town Square) making it an ideal place for guests to make the most of Krakow's cultural and tourist attractions. There are 17 rooms (14 doubles, 3 singles), all well-equipped and comfortable. Each room has a telephone, TV, VCR and mini-bar, and for business travellers, Maltanski offers an internet network throughout the building allowing any configuration between rooms and constant internet access. Since pairs of rooms can be connected you may book a room to stay in and set up a temporary office in an adjacent room.

Charming hotel, close to city center but still quiet. The variety of options for breakfast was wonderful!
Great location - short walk to castle and old town. The rooms are a good size, elegantly designed and furnished.
This hotel was such a great find. A perfect few minutes stroll from the Main Square. Enjoyed the walk round Planty too. Our room was quiet and we had very good breakfast.
It was lovely. Staff welcoming and helpful. Perfect for people who want somewhere quiet and peaceful and probably older. It suited us perfectly and we would return
Hotel Maltanski was well situated close to the Radisson SAS Hotel, but is 100% more charming!! The rooms, the staff and the short walking distance to all attractions was just great!!
Our family of four spent 3 wonderful nights starting August 23, 2009 at Hotel Maltanski. We had 2 spotless, comfortable, well appointed connecting rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious with terrific coffee. The hotel is very close to the old town with its wonderful square with plenty of restaurants and really good market shopping. We found the crafts to be of really high quality. Loved our stay and would hightly recommend this hotel.

I agree with all the comments below. There's nothing overdone about this hotel Understated elegance. And friendly staff. Thanks guys!
We stayed there as a family booking Three rooms. The staff organised kindly our transfer from and to the airport. Excellent service especially when travelling with a one year old baby, all useful equipment was there. It was a bit warm in the room, but well it's summer! strongly recommended for its location too.
We thought this a lovely little hotel. Elegant, understated. Nothing flashy. Helpful staff at reception and good breakfasts. Thoroughly recommended.
This was my fifth stay in Krakow and my best as far as hotels are concerned.
Clean and large rooms, welcoming staff, well situated, quiet and an excellent breakfast buffet. I would not hesitate to come back to Maltanski for my future trips to Krakow.
