We stayed in the apartment on Slawkowska Street. I think it was called Extravaganza. Stunning place and we enjoyed a possibility of do a little bit of cooking:)
Wow, thanks for all the info. I think I will choose an apartment option this time insted of a hotel.
I found the apartment option to be great, especailly when you travel with the falily! I was able to prepare the meals for my little ones. We enjoyed the space and proximiyu of the Old town attractions.
Very affordable and practical flats all located in the Old Town - after staying in one for a weekend here, I highly recommend them!
I loved having my own place in this wonderful city to call home! So comfortable and cosy - the staff was super helpful too! I can't wait to go back.
thanks for making our first trip to Poland go smoothly! I was quite satisfied with both the quality of service and apartment standard. I hope will make it back to visit again soon - thanks much to Prezmek and Ann for their help!
This was my first time to try an apartment. I have to say I was certainly pleasantly surprised. (First off, I had no idea how early one should make a reservation in this city...) I was totally taken care of, keys, bottled water, wine (!) and all of it without having to deal with hotels. On more than one occassion I came back late (I also had no idea how MUCH you can do in this city... at night) and it was a relief to just crash in my "own" place so to speak. In Texas, there aren't many places that do this - and they totally should. I really appreciated the freedom and no-hassle approach. I think I'm done with hotels for ever.
We're glad we saw Cracow at this interesting time of change. Staying in a flat was something we'd never done before on holiday but it proved to be a real winner. And what a city! Hope to do it again soon.
