Hotel Chopin is a modern hotel to the west of the Old Town. It's a new addition to the Vienna International Group, and as you'd expect from an Austrian firm, Chopin has impeccable standards of presentation. 219 rooms make this a workable choice for large groups, whilst there are five air-conditioned conference rooms on hand for businessmen. All bedrooms come with bathroom, telephone and satellite television. Guarded parking lots will put motorists minds at rest.

Good value for money. Very good communication with the centre - just 3 or 4 tram stops. Breakfast ok.
Perfect hotel for business travelers as me. My room was small but very clean and the reception desk staff was extremely helpful.
Perfect for all opera lovers, as the opera house is very close by - which we took advantage of:) Nicely designed rooms and many business travellers indeed. Breakfast-ok.
Very well connected with the rest of the city and very straighforward to use the tram system. I would recommend this hotel to the business travelers mainly a it has a slight corporate edge to it. Our room was a bit cold at night.
At first I was a little bit disappointed with a location as the Hotel seemed to be far away from the Old Town. But in practice it actually wasn't - about 2 stops by tram or about 20 minutes very straightforward walk. Good value for money.
Friendly staff, good service, rooms were very clean. Good breakfast service. Very small rooms.
The staff were particularly helpful and charming. The breakfast was excellent and dinner was good. Just a bit noisy in the night because of the group of teenagers.
Disappointed with the location but the Hotel and the staff made up for it. Had it not been so good I would have moved nearer the center of krakow. Don't let the location put you off, its a fab hotel.
OK, its not exactly central. But its right by the opera which is pretty cool. Prices good. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the Old Town, but ended up taking the tram which is good. Rooms nice.
Stayed in early January, and while it was cold and snowing outside, it was warm and comfortable inside the Chopin. Be careful if you come by car though, driving through snow is an extreme sport!
The location is good and you get more bang for your buck, it's just two tram stops and you're at the train station, from which a walk to the main square is five minutes. Nice, clean, efficient rooms.
Just got back today (14/10/08) hotel was spotlessly clean, room was small but adequate and the food was excellent.
Just had a three night break at the hotel Chopin and it was great. Friendly staff and great breakfasts. Only ten to fifteen minutes walk to the town centre or take the tram for 2 stops. Weather was very good and hot. Food out was brilliant every where we went to. We would definately stay there again and would recommend to others
We have just returned from a 4 night break staying at the chopin hotel and could not fault the hotel, the breakfasts were first class. Due to the weather (which was raining non stop) we decided to eat in the restaurant for dinner on 3 occasions and must give our compliments to the chef, also the waiting staff very helpful and friendly.Would certainly recommend theis hotel to our friends.
We came over with a big group for the Christmas Markets and found the hotel very reasonably priced. There wasn't much snow but the city was certainly beautiful. A walk to the Old Town, but we quickly mastered the tram system.
Small, but well equipped lovely rooms. For our group Hotel Chopin were perfect, despite 20 minutes walk to Old town. Entrance hall, bar and breakfast room quite OK -the prices also!
Staff here were really helpfull but the rooms were very small, beds were like sleeping on an Ironing Board. No coffee or tea making facilities and the noise from road works and building sites either side didnt make a good stay to be honest.Would recommend a hotel closer to the old town. Still the staff were great and couldnt do enough.
i stayed here in march 2005, it was an ideal hotel for central krakow and eating places, staff was very helpful, but we run out of zlotys and could not exchange travelers checks only english stirling in the banks not in hotel. good stay though

Room rather small but spotless. Air con was a godsend. Staff attentive and professional. Plenty to eat at breakfast. About 10 - 15 min walk to the main square.
Our stay at the Hotel Chopin was a honeymoon gift. It was quiet and relaxed and the food was excellent. Will definitely be staying again next year for our first anniversary.
I stayed at this hotel just a few days ago and I was really cared about! Good location, too (just a few steps to the old town). Best regards, Sandy
