A beautiful stained glass window by Stanislaw Wyspianski, Cracow's most famous artist, betrays the long-standing tradition of this hotel, which is just a couple of minutes walk from the Main Market Square (Rynek). The Pollera has been around for over 150 years, and it is still run by its pre-war owners. It has elegant, air-conditioned suites and an art nouveau restaurant serving traditional Polish cuisine completes the experience. Pollera boasts a banquet room and ballroom, and the latter can be converted into a conference room. Guests coming with their pets are welcomed. All in all, a very Cracovian institution.

Very clean hotel although stuck in a bit of a time warp (1930s and 1940's). Staff very polite and helpful, most importantly cheap and a 2 min walk to the main square. Excellent location!
This is honest, 3 star hotel with rooms being ok,but do not expect a luxury of a five star. Yet location is next to none.
The hotel is quiet and well maintained with a brand new elevator. Location is perfect as well, between bus station and main square.
Good middle range hotel, location fantastic. Not the best place I've ever stayed in, but really good value for the price.
The location is excellent, 2 mins walking distance to the Rynek and 10 mins to Wawel Castle. Breakfast is plentiful but a little uninspiring. There are no warm offerings or fruit available. staff were very helpful. A little bit old fashioned decor.
The location is perfect, very close to the main Market square. The price very cheap for the quality provided. If English-speaking channel were available would be more appreciated
Pros: Really nice hotel with atmosphere, in a great place for reaching everything on foot and private and free parking is a benefit! Cons: Bit noisy with creaky floors, and staff could be more helpful with information.
harming, old world style hotel in the heart of Old Town Krakow, just bathroom was a bit small.
great hotel for the price, its location is its best selling point, few mins walk to all the sites.
clean comfortable rooms, its a bit old fashioned but this only adds to its charm,
staff helpfull and good breakfast,
would recomend to all travelers,
when back in krakow agian i will be using the pollera agin.
was happy with my choice. Booked it and adviced by FreeBookers.com and got from them top class service. The hotel is just what I needed. close to everything, clean. Not modern look but rather old style what I loved.
Great Hotel central location and well priced. Old fashioned and full of olde worlde charm. Ideal for a group of lads (us) or a couple. Really very good and booked via Cracow-life which made everything very simple and easy. Great place and great hotel, I will stay here again for my next visit.
Yes, it is opposite a beautiful theatre. And it does seem in a time warp all of its own. Which makes it authentic I guess. Not overflowing with modern touches, but very "Cracovian" is how my Polish friend put it. Old-fashioned but with characted and a great location.
Could see the gorgeous big theatre from my window, which tempted me to go there finally on our last evening - well worth it! Great hotel, one of the best I'bve seen in Europe.
The Pollera is by far the best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Oozing style and history the location makes for a perfect stay in Krakow. Cannot fault my stay at the hotel.
Charming hotel with olde worlde decoration which we loved. Rooms are spacious amd extremly clean with good sized shower room or bath. Great location which my family loved.
This hotel seemed absolutely in a time-warp. Thankfully that's exactly how we like it. A Habsburg era throwback with a very nostalgic aura. Amazing location by a turn of the century theatre. Mitteleuropa personified!
I stayed at the hotel last August 2006 and i loved it, it was very central 5 minute walk to the square. The hotel was very typical of an old polish hotel it was very clean, and cosy. The food was lovely. I enjoyed the hotel and Krakow so much that we are travelling again on 1st Dec in time hopefully for the Christmas Market.
I stayed at the Pollera Hotel in 2000 and other familys members have stayed here on numerous occassions while visiting Krakow. We had great service and the Staff were very friendly, organising a taxi service to the train station and even airport transfers for my other family members without been rude or unhelpful as the first person has said. We had a tripleroom stay with private facilities and we had great breakfasts served to us.
I plan to stay at this hotel on my next trip to krakow next year and i recommend it to anyone else who wants a great hotel with great service and great prices.

Very friendly and welcoming hotel. We stayed for ten days and enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely stay there again
We stayed for three nights in the Hotel Pollera (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in February and had a great time. Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and willing to help and the room was great. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Krakow. It was also extremely good value.
We were very impressed with the Pollera. It is in a great location for seeing the sights of Krakow Nice, clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfest. A great choice if you ask me.
