Editor's review
This immaculate new hotel has fifty four double rooms, three singles and one room with special facilities for disabled guests. All rooms are air-conditioned, and come with satellite television and internet connection. A rather fine swimming pool downstairs (replete with jazcuzzi and sauna) helps to give Orient the edge over other similar establishments. A bright restaurant and smart conference room are also on hand. Historic Cracow is a six kilometre journey away.

Stayed here with my wife and 14 year old daughter for 5 nights and can't really fault this place , but , by Irish or British standards , it is probably nearer to 3 star . Having said that,it is very clean , has a good leisure facility , and the food is quite good .Breakfast is European style ,but you can get eggs and bacon upon request . A taxi to the city centre is about 7 euro , so take that into account . The staff are very friendly and most speak reasonably good English .They willl organsie any tours you may wish to make .
Hotel facilities very good not sure where the visitor below got the charge for the use of sauna from, the only extras i could see that were charged for were the saucy films on the tv. (which i hasten to i did not view!)
Overall a good hotel a bit out of the town but still good value at £22 per night.
Perhaps if taxis hadn't been so cheap i would suggested getting a hotel in the centre of Krakow.
Overall quality, about a 3 Star holiday inn standard in the uk.
Used this a base to visit Krakow & Auschwitz museums. Hotel was great, rooms very comfortable, nice free swimming pool & sauna, staff spoke English well and were always helpful, they even arranged taxi to/from airport and Auschwitz with guide. Centre was about 10-15mins in taxi from Hotel but only cost £3.50!! Only disadvantage was that hotel is East of Krakow, with hindsight we'd have booked a Hotel on West as nearer Airport and Aushwitz. Overall we'd recommend though.
A CLEAN MODERN HOTEL SOMEWHAT STRANGELY SITUATED ABOUT 4 MILES FROM KRAKOW CENTRE AT THE BACK OF AN INDUSTRIAL ESTATE.400YDS FROM TRAM/BUS STOP, NOT TOO BAD IN DAYLIGHT BUT A BIT "IFFY" IN THE DARK I FANCY.HOTEL FOOD WAS SUPERB, WELL PRICED & THE BEST MEAL WE HAD DURING A 4 DAY STAY. ROOMS ARE GOOD, STAFF ARE PLEASANT.A SWIMMING POOL/SAUNA IS PROVIDED FOR GUESTS BUT BEWARE! THERE IS A CHARGE OF 25ZL (£5) IF YOU OPEN THE SAUNA DOOR! THERE ARE NO SIGNS OR HOTEL LITERATURE TO INDICATE THIS. ON LEAVING I WAS CHARGED 100ZL & I HAD ONLY BEEN IN THE SAUNA FOR ABOUT 10 MINS IN TOTAL. MY WIFE WAS CHARGED FOR ENTERING TO FETCH ME OUT! I THOUGHT THIS CHARGE WAS VERY NAUGHTY & TOLD THEM SO.AS I DID`NT FANCY A DATE WITH THE LOCAL "STASI" I PAID & LEFT, FEELING WELL CHEATED. WHAT A SHAME, FOR THE MONEY WE PAID WE HAD A GREAT TIME SPOILED A LITTLE AT THE END BY A SNEAKY TAX AS WE LEFT.TAXI TO KRACKOW CENTRE IS 25-30 ZL.
