Poland's greatest composer would no doubt have approved of this location. Right next door to the Raczynski palace and a stone's throw from the flamboyant Slowacki theatre. The newly refurbished Chopin apartment would be a perfect base for a stay in Cracow. At 80 square metres the flat could comfortably accomodate a young family or a couple who want to have plenty of space! There is a kitchen, a bathroom (with bath) and easy access to all of treasures of the Old Town. A useful store on the corner has everything you could possibly need - be it toothpaste, wine or any type of food you can think of.

Great apartment, but to be honest with so much to do in Krakow ( bars, restaurants, discos, galleries and shopping) we hardly spent any time in anyway:))
A nice apartment ideally situated. Staff very helpful and courteous. TV takes a bit of investigation to get a picture but there are loads of channels. Cooking facilities limited - 2 ring electric hob. But we requested an oven and microwave and they were provided. Needs some saucepans too - the lids are there! We are both diabetics and prefer to cook our own food but there are very competitive hotels with breakfast. There is a huge Carrefour store in the new shopping centre and good cheap meals can be had there. It is up near the railway station and the store is at the far end on the second floor. We were not troubled with noise except for the rubbish cart dealing with the commercial premises each morning. Look out for the FREE walking tour of the town and save £10 each! We went to the Salt Mines on the local bus for just over £1 each return. The Tourist Office will give you all the details. We also had very good excursion to Nova Huta - not at all what you expect. The No. 2 tram and 100 bus will take you to the interesting mounds outside of the city. You can walk it in about 1.5 hours each way. Nice rides on the riverboats too. Krakow is a great place!!
Just be aware that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is no lift- not so good when you have heavy luggage. The bedding was very tatty and uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning and we couldn't open the windows due to the noise from patrons of the bar downstairs. It was also on what appeared to be the route home for a number of drunk and noisy people. Having said all this, the apartment is very well situated - a very short walk from the square. The people we dealt with were very pleasant amd helpful. It is also very near the railway station.
Hi Anna,
Just a quick email to say how much we enjoyed our holiday, and thanks for your help. It's a shame we didn't get to meet, but the other people I did meet were very helpful.
The Appartment was in a brilliant location, and was ideal for us.
The area, the weather, the tours were all really good. I would thoroughly reccomend Krakow, your company, and the tour company to anyone.
Thanks again,
Roy
Dear all,
Thank you very much for allowing us to come back to the apartment last evening. As our train was leaving at 10 pm, this was of very great value for us.
All together we enjoyed staying in Krakow and especially in the Chopin apartment a lot. Everything was absolutely delightfull and we will of course recommend you to our friends.
Thank you once again and best regards,
Robert and Eva
Stayed here with a group of friends trying to get away from it all, and we had a blast. Great apartment!
We stayed in the Chopin apartment in Dec 08 and we thought it was absolutely fantastic. It was VERY spacious with nice balcony, kitchenette and a large bath. The staff were delightful in every way. Very impressed!
Really big flat for a great price! Bring some friends for a cheap and cheerful getaway. Free wifi is a nice plus :)
THE APARTMENT WAS LOVLEY AND CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. THERE WERE THREE OF US AND WE WERE ALL VERY HAPPY WITH CHOPIN. WE THOUGHT IT'S CHARM MATCHED THAT OF THE SURROUNDING CITY. IT WAS EXCELENT VALUE FOR OUR MONEY.
Excellent location and, as always, Cracow Life staff are friendly and helpful - we even got a complimentary bottle of fizz on New Years Eve.
Huge flat!! Wonderful location and the staff was nice too. Everything you need in one spot - couldn't recommend it more.
We have stayed in this lovely apartment twice before and we love it. Great place for friends as well as for a family. Superb location close to everything. We will be back soon, thanks for all your help!
Huge apartment with everything you'd ever need (useful laundry machine too). Even have your own entrance via balcony - sweet!
I arrived early around 8 am and was immediately checked into my room by very pleasant staff. I was very pleased with the apartment. It was large and comfortable. The location couldn't be any better. Thank you for all your help and kind assistance. Highly recommended!
Very spacious modern apartment, really enjoyed stay here & would happily reccomend to anyone. Only a few minutes walk to the town square. Would get 5 stars, but needs new carpet & noticed rugs had been strategically placed over puke stained carpet ha ha!!
Thank you Anna - our stay was enjoyable. The apartment was spacious enough for my wife, teenage son, and I. I love Cracow and plan to be back again soon!
Very centrally situated, about 3 minutes walk from the main market square. It is a lovely old building and apartment itself very spacious, clean bathroom with washing machine. And what a nice surpise was to hear that there is also Wi-Fi in the apartment! I hope to be back, thank you for all your help.
I feel like we have actually 'lived' Krakow for our short stay. The apartment is placed perfectly for all you could need. 5 mins walk from train, 10 Mins from coach station. Just inside historic city wall, we felt like Medieval princesses! Beautiful theatre is around the corner, horse and carriage rides pass under the window, and artists selling paintings in all weathers. Coffee and pastries in shop along the street, and tiny supermarket around the corner. Delighted with our choice, the apartment is spacious, simply furnished and very cosy. Its quiet except for a few late night straggling revellers, but not a problem. Dziekuje Przemek
I really liked the Chopin apartment - simply and comfortable. My wife liked the kitchen cabinets so much she's trying to convince me to renovate ours! Thanks to the staff (sorry i can't remember your names!) for being courteous.
Beautifull Place - close to the Market Square, very nice apartment, good value for money. Highly recommend. View from the windows is just breathtaking.
Thank you for making my stay such a nice experience.
Almost like a Chopin's music, brilliant place in beauty full town ,i will never forget that weekend in Cracow !
great apartment, all what i wanted for my stay in Krakow ....... Thank you very much amigos : )
The Truculent Horse knew, as soon as she stepped into the Chopin apartment that cold winters night, that they had found the perfect home in Kraków. Princess Rhiannon would be pleased. Although the horse spent the first night here alone, her surroundings were so comfortable, relaxing and perfect in every way that, after a hot bath, she slept as soundly as though she were in her own stable at home in the royal palace. The next day when she awoke and eagerly drew open the blinds, the snowy rooftops of Kraków and St Florians Gate gleamed before her sleepy eyes. Throwing open the windows she leaned out into the foggy November air (perhaps she would catch sight of Princess Rhiannon alighting from a taxi) and saw the art sellers beginning to set up their galleries on the street below.
Wandering at leisure around the spacious warm apartment and sitting down to a cup of tea she already felt as though she had lived here for months and Princess Rhiannon, whenever she arrived, would merely be a visitor to her home. The Horse decided to go out to the local shop to get her breakfast. Just around the corner she found everything she needed bread, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and beer. The Princess would be delighted. The Princess was late, very late, but the Horse didnt worry. She felt right at home, trotting in and out of her apartment, lounging on the couch and making endless cups of tea.
Then, just as she had given up all hope, she saw the Princess out on the balcony stumbling along with her enormous rucksack. They were reunited at last!
For the next four days the Horse and her Princess gallivanted around the old town, frolicking and sparkling in the snowy streets under the stars, sheltering from the blizzard in warm candle-lit cellar bars over beers, making new friends and dancing their little hearts out, but always knowing, at the end of every long and busy day, that their warm and inviting apartment was quietly waiting nearby. There they could always return, for a snooze in the enormous bed, a hot bath, a long and lazy breakfast or just to sit, drink a vodka and discuss the days events.
At the end of their sojourn in Poland even the Princess, with her impossibly high standards, had to agree that the apartment was perfect in every way. Well, practically perfect. As the Truculent Horse sadly turned the key in the lock for the last time the Princess announced You must tell them, my little horse, when you write the review, that we need a long mirror for next time, so that I can see how beautiful I look before I go out. The Truculent Horse just snorted.
Wonderful apartment and great service. Thank you so much for all your help with everything. We fell in love with Krakow and we will be back - I hope we can stay in the Chopin Apartment again! Helga
I agree, stayed here first weekend of April. Excellent value, great location. Nothing like chilling in front of the TV with a beer after dinner and before going out for the night. No phone or email, but after a couple hours, I realized this was a good thing!
Good Bye to Hotels.
This was my third time in Krakow and the first time I tried an apartment instead of a hotel. I'll tell you this much: I'll give up room service for the freedom and privacy that comes with an apartment anyday. This was really great. For a city as awesome as Krakow, you need to be flexible and ready for anything. This was easily my favorite trip up here so far (despite freezing my ***** off!). I highly recommend the Chopin Apartment and apartments in general. I'll never stay at a hotel again!
