It IS possible to stay in an Old Town hotel and not bankrupt yourself in the process. Hotel Mikolaj, which opened in the summer of 2006, provides a solid choice for accommodation in Cracow's Old Town. They have renovated an attractive old townhouse a short stroll from the Main Market Square. Guests can choose between ten rooms, which include doubles, twins, triples and suites. All rooms are equipped with TV, radio and telephone. Down in the medieval cellars you can dine on traditional Polish dishes and some international classics too. Banquets and business meetings can also be laid on.

Location is very convenient. Walking distance from train station and all other attractions. Staff are very helpful.
It was good Hotel, but the location was fantastic. I enjoyed Paparazzi restaurant just on the opposite side of the road and a beautiful jewelery shop just next to the Hotel. I would like to recommend this Hotel to everyone.
Location is very convenient. Walking distance from train station and all other attractions. Staff was great! Included breakfast is good too!
We stayed there with my family and I was very pleased with the choice that we had made. It was very friendly and warm atmosphere and the location couldn't be better. We will come back to Krakow. thank you!
Lovely place to stay, friendly staff, good location. Loved krakow in the sun, may be back for the snow!
Seemed almost like a bed and breakfast - very friendly, family environment, with a nice room perfect for returning to after long day of seeing Krakow!
Really cute hotel on a charming little street - everything about our room was adorable :) We even dined in the restaurant one night, not bad at all!
The location of this hotel was great. The rooms are a little outdated and a few items needed attention, but on the whole very good.
We had to queue for breakfast the second day, which was not great (as you have plans!) but this was due to the size of the room than anything else.
We steyed for two nights (in two rooms) in the beginning of july 2008. It vas a very plesant stay. The rooms vere clean and the personal very nice and helpful. And the location is perfect in the old town. I hope to come back :o)
