Opened in the 2006 season, this hostel is one of the biggest and most luxurious in town. You'll find it in a pleasant, hushed corner of Cracow's Old Town, just by the Planty Gardens. City Hostel has made its home in a historic mansion and they're offering all kinds of options for the weary traveller. There are 97 beds in all, including 15 private rooms, as well as dorms that can manage 11 adventurers. All rooms have their own bathrooms , but not all with WC. Perks include free internet access, and easy access to both the railway station (5 minutes walk) and the Main Market Square (3 minutes walk). Breakfast is included in the price.

The hostel is in a good location, not far from the shops and eating places. Bus and train station about a seven minute walk away. Breakfast is ok, go up earlier than what they say, or there wont be any seats left.Staff were helpful.Rooms are pretty basic but adequate, they were clean. i would stay there again.
This hostel is very close to the railway station as well to Planty, Krakows nicest place to calm down. Check in is at 2 pm. It was not possible to go earlier in the room. The room itself (dorm for 11 persons) was very big. Bathroom with two showers and two sinks, which one of them out of use was, with a break. In the toilet room there was no ligth. No separat toilet. Staff was very nice. No lift :( The breakfast room is in the topfloor. The breakfast itself was very poor. Little choice, but for the price all in all was everything ok.
