Reviews of 5 star Hotels in Krakow
Frightfully nice place!
Breakfast is not worth the price. Probably the most expensive breakfast in town but it wont make you feel fancy - they only have a basic & very uninspiring buffet. For example Kolanko no.6 have an amazing buffet for 25zl. This Sheraton charges 95zl for a way lower quality brekkie. It's clearly just to scam people who are so rich that the numbers on the bill mean nothing to them.
I just had very disappointing breakfast for 95 PLN, this is rediculous price compared to 100 other great places with superb breakfast for 20 PLN all around Old Town
Best hotel in Krakow!
Customers be aware : Hotel charges NO SHOW penalties if you don't make it on time ! Due to a medical emergency we did not check in on time so we were advised of a penalties equivalent of one night cost ! ( 400 USD ).Reprehensible Penalties very unreasonable ! The manager of the reception :Izabela Lis Ozimek - totally incompetent to handle the issue/ hold a position or to respond to a customer needs ! Reprehensible ! Location is great, room clean but small .
We chose Cracow for our wedding day. Our friends recommended us the Hotel. The wedding itself was amazingly organised. Top level service, delicious meals, helpful hotel staff and the manager who recommended us the live band Terytoria and Marry Me Studio film crew for both of which we are very grateful. Also, the manager contacted us with wedding planner at the beginning of our adventure with the hotel so it helped us a lot. Thanks again !
Krakow's finest hotel. Treat yourself - you will not regret it!
It has to be added that there is a fantastic restaurant in the hotel as well. Well worth a meal here, even if you do not stay at the hotel itself. The basement pool is incredible.
We had a magical time at this hotel. Unbeatable atmosphere, beautiful rooms and top service. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to relax in style and luxury.
When our family of 5 checked in to the hotel we were a bit skeptical about what to expect. We booked through centurion and while the reviews of the hotel were good it was still ranked 50 something. We are traveling with three children under the age of 8. The reception desk is very European but the elevators, dining area and coffee lunge area in the ground floor have a contemporary feel. We were taken to our room which was a very large suite in the third floor. The decor, the furniture, the massive wooden doors were just all so unique and We went for a walk (perfect location folks). On the way home, we went down to -1 and it was amazing. It is a cave that has been transformed into a gym, sauna, steam rooms, incredible pools and just one of the most unique and relaxing places I've ever been. We've stayed at a lot of hotels and this hotel is definitely in the top 3 hotels we've ever stayed at. The services, the price, the locations d yes the underground floor is sensational. The staff is kind, helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going.
Perfectly located and within easy walking distance to the Main Square and attractions. All of the Staff at this beautiful Hotel from, the front desk to the cleaning staff ensured our 3 night stay was a most enjoyable and comfortable one. The Staff were faultless and provided an outstanding service who were always on hand to help when needed. We ate in the Hotel's restaurant and the food was delicious and for a 5* Hotel the value for money was incredibly reasonable. I would recommend anyone to stay there, and most definitely we'll be back there, but next time we'll stay in one of there stunning Suites.
Just superb.
I cannot write too highly of this hotel. From the exceptional building, the friendly staff, from the incredible subterranean swimming pool to the rooftop terrace, this place is just perfect for a weekend break or longer. Not to mention an easy walk to all the best places in Krakow. Outstanding.
Still the stand-out hotel in Krakow. Incredible interior, marvellous (though austere) rooms. If you like Italian marble, you'll love this place. Very helpful staff.
Lovely hotel located a stone's throw from the central square in Krakow. We had specified that we were 3 friends travelling together - so 3 adults - so were disappointed on arrival when we saw the size of the room. We had opted for the deluxe room and were told that that would accommodate 3 beds. It did, but 3 people and 3 suitcases in addition would have been tricky. I spoke to the girl in reception and she was very helpful. After checking with her manager we were given a very nice room (called apartment, but a bigger room with a sofa) which was very nice and much appreciated! When we asked for an extra matress to put on the sofa bed which was pretty lumpy, that was no problem either. We encountered 4 different girls in reception during our stay and they were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine, and though the breakfast staff did their job perfectly well they were less friendly than the receptionists. The weather was cold and miserable and we had looked forward to sitting down in the bar in the front of the fire, however it was never lit. When we mentioned that it would be nice to see the fire in the reception was lit, it was in fact lit the next day. However, strange with the cold weather that this wasn't lit automatically every morning. We used the sauna every day to warm up which was great, and it was sensible that you had to give an hour's notice so it could be turned on, but we did think it was a bit starnge to have to pay extra for it in a 5 star hotel. All in all though it was a lovely hotel and we all agreed that we would definitely go back.
Everything was perfect : the staff, the deluxe room and the breakfast.
Fantastic hotel and so close to the Wawel Castle!
Undoubtedly, one of the very best hotels in Krakow. Staff exceptional, decor great. I keep coming back.
We spent five tremendous nights at the Grand. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, organising flowers and chocolates for my wife. A great position, ambience and first class rooms. Top notch hotel.
My favourite hotel! Quiet side street is a big advantage in a city that can get quite noisy at night. Food excellent.
Incredible hotel! I just stayed there before the England team. Luxurious, central location and excellent food. Cool pool in the basement too.
An exceptional hotel. Everything from the roof-top terrace to the basement pool is just perfect! I came here on my honeymoon back in 2007, and we have returned twice again since. Magical!
Fabulous Hotel,never disappoints!
A super place to stay. Probably my favourite hotel in Krakow.
A wonderful hotel with the most friendly staff of any hotel we have stayed at in Krakow. Quiet but very central location on a side street. The restaurant is terrific too.
One of the really great hotels in Central Europe - I just love it!
Rooms dated, staff not so helpful, really could do better considering the price.
Excellent location, and beautiful hotel. Nice touches such as bathrobe and slippers. Just a couple of things that were disappointing, breakfast was cold, no tea or coffee making facilities in room, the 24 hour room service finished at 230 hrs, and the receptionist didnt seem to have local knowledge.
Excellent hotel...service second to none.
Die Lage war excellent, Unser Gesamterlebnis war im Grossen und Ganzen sehr gut.
It was nicely situated beside the river and near enough to the Square.
Great location, exceptionally friendly staff.
Location excellent and comfortable lounge/bar area.Room bright and spacious with robes, slippers and complimentary water.
Hotel was charming and had a great value of character. Good location to market square.
pool amenities were fantastic and the breakfasts were also wonderful. One of the best stays anywhere in the world.
This hotel is brilliant, perfect location, wonderful service - everything what u need.
Nice room, excellent service, lovely top with panoramic view!
This hotel wasn't my first choice but as it was very difficult to find anything available - we got to Niebieski and it turned out to be a very positive surprise!
A little bit off the beaten track, but the communication with the centre very good . Excellent standard of food in the hotel restaurant.
it is located right in the middle of the city, rooms were small and very basic
Great central but quiet location. Personnel was friendly and helpful.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated.
rooftop restaurant and at breakfast were excellent. Location is perfect for the exploring the city.
Very nice design, very nice view on Vistula river and very good breakfast.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and recommended some very good restaurants. Location is excellent.
It is an excellent place to stay. Only a bit annoying was the building work.
I loved the decor - brilliant, location is also great in the center but in the small and quite street.
Wonderful hotel with outstanding staff. The breakfast selection was superb - cold and hotel buffet. Great coffee too. A free wi-fi was a bonus. Thank you Hotel Grodek for making our stay special.
Very pleased with my stay in Krakow and weather last week was outstanding. Hotel Radisson is modern and fresh. Reception staff go out of their way to help if they can arranging trips taxis and transfers. Would like to come back again:)
We were very impressed. It's on the Vistula River and about a 20/30 minute walk to Old Town and about 20 to Wawel Castle. The walk was very pleasant just by the River's Bank. Extremely helpful front desk staff. Very clean room and good breakfast.
