Cynics might have claimed that Krakow didn't need another Irish Pub, but this establishment has hands down proven them wrong. From the myriad of plasma sports screens and the fantastic food menu, right down to the cheeky name (deriving from the pub's location on Embassy Street) the Mbassy has got it just right. Sports fans can enjoy a pint and an unobstructed view of the action from virtually any corner of this huge four-floored fully air-conditioned venue, whilst gastronomes can enjoy dishes like 'beef fillet with wholegrain mash potatoes soaked in port wine jus and a touch of sweet onion marmalade'. Certainly beats a greasy burger and chips! A rich programme of live music, curry nights on Thursdays and slap up Sunday roasts (for just 25PLN) as well as being open from 10am on weekends ensure there's never a dull moment at the Irish Mbassy!

Guys is this bar closed?
I am in Krakow for a few days mid September and I am looking somewhere to watch the All Ireland Final on the 20th September. Any help with this appreciated.

By far the best Irish Pub in Krakow. (real Irish). Unfortunately closed. There's no alternative. I missed it
The Indian Guy, Raj, was always a shareholder in the mbassy
Their website says "closed fro refurbishment"
Jacek yes he has left he left last year as I know he is now in the uk an Ireland running bars an some Indian guy has it now an I heard today it's closed so no Irishman no business Maurice will be missed in krakow and that's for sure
Just wondering, usually pay a visit or 2 when i am in Krakow, is this place still open, their website has been down for about 2 weeks now, just wondering if they have shut up shop

Hey Maurice, just heard the sad news that your closing, sorry to hear this. all the best in the future. Willie
Best place to watch sports. There's also a good pub quiz night (not sure how regularly). Food is decent, and you can get Guinness.
Well, this is place to go to watch any Premier League matches, rugby or other sports, especially if you are from the UK on holiday and don't want to miss the big match! There can be a big crowd, so sometimes good to get there early or book a table if you want a decent view...
I have been In many a bar around The globe and In Kraków as its my 5th time here and one thing i Will say this bar has it all The staff are so friendly talkative and helpfull and are interested In starting a conversation The food is second to none and For what it costs i got a bubble of The New menu as they were testing it The rib's and nachos yummy guiness on tap beautiful girls to chat with i would recommend this bar to anyone flying In to Kraków

Came here to meet some friends i was well impressed happy staff good beer try The steak it The best ive had outside The USA well worth a visit it can get busy but worth The hassle ;)
Brilliant bar, and we wer looked after very well by manager Dave and staff. Well worth a visit
Arrived 30 May 2012 left 6 June 2012, my first stopping of point of the day and sometimes at night,i have been to Krakow more times than i can remember, and i always go to local Polish pubs n cafes, but if you need a touch of Ireland there is no better pub in Krakow. Staff are fantastic pleasant, efficient, the food is as good as you will get in the main square, and in my honest opinion, the steaks are the best i have ever tasted, the chefs are to be complimented on their cooking, they could work in a top class hotel if they were to come to the UK, they are that good. A special mention to Dave the manager a nicer guy you could want to meet, and obvious he has been in the trade for many years with the way he talks and handles the various customers who come through the door,( told you Dave i would give you a good review, tell Morris to give you a rise :) ) last but not least to all the Irish folks who were in the bar at the weekend who came back from a local wedding and setup their instruments and played for us for nearly 3 hours, brilliant night and all done just for the shear pleasure of playing to the crowd fantastic. My birthday in September and i will be back again :) :)
P.S. If you read this Dave hope your flooding problem has finally dried out Hehe, (Kev the wee bald Scots guy who tries and speaks terrible Polish)
Best bar by far in the city of Krakow to watch sport and the waitresess yummy food at decent prices will be back
Was here at the weekend with 20 scottish mates great bar top food an the staff oh my god i fell in love with all of them they even have a Irish doorman big fella wouldnt mess with him and they have Irish magners the only płace we seen it in Cracow
Anytime I visit krakow I enjoy this bar the food the staff an the owner Morgan I think his name is great fun to have a beer with he treats his staff like his family which seems to work well done see you all next time I visit ;)
this is a great place to eat and drink and cant complain about the staff as they were all very frendly.
The pub is owned buy a very charismatic Irish man called Morris and his manager david both from Ireland, always visit there when i am in Krakow and Morris is always pleasant and got plenty of tales to tell, service is excellent and food is equally good.Maybe you had the misfortune to walk in on a Stag night :) :)
had a great time here on paddys day. But confused i met so many people here who said they owned the place firstly some indian guy and then some guy from dublin who said his parents are the owners and then some some irish guy with red hair in face paint. So is this place irish owned or just a load of drunken idiots with one who brought the glasses and the next who has the sky box
Been over in Krakow many many times, i always do my nights out in the old Jewish area of kazimierz lots of funky little pubs n clubs to suit anyone, but if you need a taste of home and the best steak dinner in the City, you cant beat the Embassy club, owner Morris is a great bloke man's got plenty to say and a good laugh and so is David the manager, learn how to order a beer and food in Polish and the staff will be amazed and talk to you all night, not been over since May 2011, but hopefully will put that right in June, when the weather is nice and hot and i can sit in the main market and watch the world pass by, then into the Embassy for a cold one :)
This is the third time we have been to this pub and we always have a great time, dave the dj done a grand job as always, cheers !!
Found this bar by mistake what luck ;) we spent 3 of our four nights here the food was better than any other place we ate! We met the owner aswell Morris I think his name was top bloke and a great laugh see ye guys for the euros
Brilliant pub, great atmosphere! Plenty of tasty polish beer to quench the thirst! Had a great weekend, in which a fair amount of time was spent at the mbassy! Dave the manager is a great guy, and the place is run excellently! Will be back!!
Great pub, really friendly staff (especially Dave) and good food. Would definitely recommend a visit.
savage bar we wen to a lot while in krakow this is the only bar that sells magners in the city that we found good food an great staff on the ball!
Nice bar - worth a visit with some very good food for not too much money! They did try to rip us off on drinks by double charging during happy hour and then being a little annoyed when we pointed it out to them.
This bar was heaving full off people big bar live Music upstairs very good food aswell worth a visit
Hey maurice. Heard the Irish Arms is closing:( what happened it was only open for a little over a year. I'll be over for paddy's day so please dont close the Mbassy :-)

This is one big bar great food steak came out perfect great pint of the black stuff can get noisey sometimes but well worth a visit
One thing I did't like at all. The air conditioning was turned on the whole time and people were really freezing and putting their jackets on. Thats not the purpos of an aircon! Besides that, it was ok.
We had a great evening here yesterday watching the Man U - Schalke Champions League match. The Irish Mbassy has tons of screens, so it is easy to find a good place to watch. The staff were pleasant and fast with the service. Top marks!
excellent pub, great atmosphere food is superb. Mr. Morgan is a fantastic host had a wonderful time there
Great time in this bar, good live entertainment with reasonably priced drinks, met lots of friendly people and seen plenty of smiling faces.
Without a doubt the best sports bar in krakow the rest are sad little caves that wanna be this place but never will!!!! best staff best food they have every sport they even open early if needed went to the rest but came back to the best
Hadn't been to the Mbassy for a while, but was impressed with the place. Great to see good cider on tap, as well as Guinness! Watched the India-Australia Cricket match in the downstairs bar. Would have been a bit better if there had been sound as well, but that's a small complaint. Overall - terrific!
Can't say enough to commend this place. Every type of entertainment, for sports lovers to weekend alcoholics. Dave, the manager can't do enough to help you and the girls behind the bar are not only knockout in the looks department, they are also pleasant and helpful. Food is second to none and it is a place and experience I would recommend to anyone.
just got back from krakow, ive been this boozer a few times and it just keeps gettin better, dave who does the disco ect..is a great sport, enjoy !
HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY..HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD OLD OLD IRISH PARTY TODAY..Great staff..GreatFood.. Great craic...BEST IRISH PUB IN EUROPE
Nice irish bar in the centre of Krakow. A little bit pricy however the little extra is well worth it per pint for the atmosphere and the football. The grub is also worth a try as it is good value.
One of the best things about Krakow! Always had a friendly welcome here from the staff and especially good if you just want to meet up with other good folk and enjoy the sports. I visit Krakow about 3 or 4 times a year on business, and I always come here if I can.
absolutely fantastic place ! :)

The Irish Mbassy has got to be the number one sports bar in krakow. We booked a table for the England v USA game and it was a great call. The atmosphere was great just like being back home. The drinks and food are very well priced. The grey haired guy on the door was cool as well.
hello , that is a great place to watch sport games. Jack , I hope that they did not charge you double as you were French and also for Henry hand ball.just kidding! That match was not great but let hope that even if they do not win games, they would go as far as possible as they did in 1998.
