Cracow is pretty short on wine bars, so Bodega Marques Vinoteca comes as a welcome addition to the whole scene. The owner certainly knows his subject, offering over three hundred varieties from distinguished wine-houses across the globe. A range of delicious Spanish tapas provides the perfect compliment. For those looking to delve further into wine-tasting heaven, Bodega Marques organises regular evenings with wine experts where you can explore various regions from the comfort of their lounge. Amongst their enticing numbers are Bordeauxs from Robert Giraud, Riojas from Bodegas Muga and some excellent Chilean Vina Santa Rita. Open from 11.00 until the last guest decides to call it a day. Rather classy.

We didn't just go once to this place, but THREE times. Its that good. What ask yourself makes a good bar - service and staff !!! We were served expertly by Ewa, Alex and Joanna and they always made us feel welcome. They made our visit to Krakow that extra bit special with their warm, polite and friendly service and conversations. The wine here is excellent and well priced, and the food too is superb. We intend to return again and again. If you are in Krakow, do not miss this place.

The best place to be in Cracow! Due to the superb waitresses, the friendly service, the verry nice wines and the good food they served us. A place to go back to!
Great wine, pretty waitresses! The seats are not so comfortable, but once we'd had a bit to drink, didn't seem to notice!
