Stary Port (Old Port) is a cellar pub just outside Cracow's Planty, which has gone all out on the seafaring theme. Drinks for all you old salts include the bizarre-sounding Mleko Wieloryba ("Whale's Milk") for seadogs, and the Kolo Ratunkowe ("Lifebelt") for drowning men. There's plenty of live shanty music and a cheerful, boisterous atmosphere at the weekends. Open every day, remember that the exit/entrance is on ul. Jablonowskich. Once you've lost your sealegs here, though, it probably won't make much difference.

One of the most authentic places in Krakow, filled with locals and students (due to its proximity to the University). The shanty music and sailing decor are a nice change from Krakow's other bars, the bartenders are really nice people, and though they just raised the prices, it's still cheaper than most places in town. Thursday is the best night to be in Stary Port--the sailors reserve a table and belligerently play shanties on all manner of instruments till the early morning; it's one of Krakow's greatest spectacles, don't miss it.
nice place a la sailor's tavern with good music on life. avid for beer find murphys irish stout. toilet it's not good :(
Stary Port is a pub for sea and sailing people. If you leave here sober and straight then you have not found Stary Port. Despite the arrogance of locals that are proud to frequent this place It is Shanty Heaven. Sing Drink and even throw up. Hey it's a ship filled with crew and beer.
Best Wishes
