If you need a shot of the Rive Gauche, and couldn't find it in Paris, then you might just find what you were looking for in this cafe in the old Jewish market square of Kazimierz - with walls papered floor to ceiling with posters from French movies, and copies of Le Monde and Paris Match lying around for you to read. Excellent croissants and coffee from 7 o'clock in the morning make this one of our breakfast favourites. The other light meals are all pretty good too. Vive La France!

Inattentive staff, tatty decor, and snobby patrons in their late twenties discussing highbrow subjects as if they knew something about them... Les Couleurs is the real deal. Don't let the fact that tu ne peux pas lire francais stop you from picking up Le Monde and pretending to be an intellectual too. It's really easy. Simply throw on a black polo neck sweater, order a double expresso at intervals of twenty minutes and after perusing the French press devote your unwavering attention to your existential novel (old school), or whatever p*rn you've downloaded onto your ipad (new school). Magnifique.
Wonderful and very friendly place, packed with locals and expats. Bar staff exceptional - open, friendly and smiley, unlike some other places in Kazimierz. A dog friendly place too - they even have a permanent bowl with water for pets. This would explain why there is so many cute dogs around every time I come to visit.
Excellent wi fi and cappucino!
Very cool place. Loved it. Loads of cool bars in this area. Check it out. We ended up spending more time here thasn in the centre
les couleurs me monquent ! Paris w samym sercu Krakowa. Kiedy mieszkalem w Krakowie w czasach mojego liceum, zakochany w jezyku francuskim, we Francji a w szczegolnosci Paryzu, czesto tam chodzilem. Miejsce magiczne, przenosi nas do Francji, Paryza Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour , Moulin Rouge czy La toure Eiffel.
A gem of a cafe - somewhere to sit, chat, drink good coffee, do a bit of work (there's free wireless internet), watch the world go by, read the papers, find someone new to talk to... Friendly staff, good croissants in the morning and full of life at night.
