Pub Sarmacja, right in the heart of Krakow, takes its inspiration from the most memorable moments of Poland's history. Inside, you will find three spacious and uniquely decorated rooms with a decidedly historical theme, not to mention great service from the staff and a rousing mix of Polish and Russian music.
There's air conditioning and wi-fi in each room, plus a smoking area and garden.
One original touch is the stream of classic cartoons and movies shown on the screens on each room - and of course, the screens also bring live action direct to those sports fans among the guests.
Behind the bar lies a veritable treasure trove, including regional beers from small breweries, a range of vodkas, mixed drinks and shots, mead, Polish liqueurs, and wine. If you are hungry, grab a bite to eat - and pay for it all by credit card!

Indeed, the staff is really nice and friendly and they have a huge choice of beers. I've spent there all evening when I was in Krakow. Will be back!
My brother and I visited Krakow for a week this past summer and we stopped at Sarmacja several times and had a fantastic time. Dawid & Marcin (and others) were a lot of fun, courteous and helpful. Dawid in particular was fantastic and made us feel like we were at a pub we had been going to all of our lives. Great selection of Polish (and other) beers and vodka. If you're lucky you can convince Dawid to make you "Christmas in your mouth" or something crazy that he lights on fire. We're not sure when we'll be back to visit again but I'm sure we'll stop here first. Thanks again. - the 'Peanutski' brothers
