Great coffee (roasted on the premises) served up with excellent cakes, light meals and rather good sandwiches, make Cafe Rekawka a great pitstop. Its actually just over the bridge from Kazimierz in Podgorze, and it's the epicentre of the 'Podgorze Association of Good Ideas for Fellow Men' - a very noble band who are brimming with bright ideas for the area. Rekawka has certainly set a marvellous example with this superlatively cosy number. In their shop you can choose from a great selection of coffees, or even have your own special blend of roasts ground for you. They also sell some wonderful postcards. Like all self-respecting Cracow cafes, Rekawka offers beer and wine, a good range of music, and plenty of candles to light up the corners. A diamond in the rough.

nice place terrible owner, in her own words a customer is not allowed to plug in thier laptops breathe the air, use wifi, or feel comfortable, pay consume & leave promptly, or meet this terrible woman who turns of the wifi saying she needs to reset,, BEWARE!
Podgorze deserves to be discovered by discerning travellers before it becomes overrun. Catch quiet spots like this before the district becomes a theme park...
loved Cafe Rekawka.. Hardly any tourists (unlike most places in Krakow) because it is hidden in podgorze
Nice, quiet and calm. I like this cafe. Doesn't try to be something it isn't. An ideal place to bring your girlfriend for a romantic date away from the madness of Kazimierz and the Stary Miasto.
