Editor's review
Nowa Prowincja (New Province) is the sister outlet of one of Cracow's best-loved cafe's, Prowincja. The name and style may be unadventurous, but when you've got an atmosphere that's as beguiling as this, who's complaining? The new cafe has a cosy, barrel shaped room that's been painted a creamy shade of lilac. Marble-topped tables and plenty of candles keep the tone smooth and romantic. Worth bearing in mind is that Prowincja rustles up some of the most delectable cakes in town - those with a sweet tooth should not leave Cracow without trying their lemon meringue cake. Upstairs you'll find another unexpected treat - a little gem of a gallery that's hosts some eccentric shows.

love this place - nice light menu & great atmosphere... very charming, old towney & localey feeling
While visiting Krakow a few of us were looking for an internet cafe with decent WiFi. We found Nowa Prowincja cafe and although the best connection is upstairs. We decided to sit downstairs and people watch with our espresso and laptops. I also ordered Creme Brulee. It was the best!
Soy admirador de los poemas de Wislawa. He leído en una revista literaria de mi país que ella frecuentaba este café, por eso decidí visitarlo en la Web. Algún día iré en persona.

Krakow is a wonderful place for people who enjoy great atmnospheres and excellent cafe life. This is a wonderful cafe- the deco, music and ambience suits everyone, and the refreshments are incredible. The greatest hot chocolate ever!!! If you don't go whilst in Krakow you need help!!!!!!!!
A lovely cafe. You can sit outside on old primary school desks and watch the world by. We loved this one...@!
I love that place :) Especially upstairs, where you can't smoke. They have the best cherry&rum tea I've ever had :)
This place is still pretty cool. Dark, smoky, full of students. Good coffee and desserts... Pilsners on tap too. Just come to hang out with your intellectual friends (unless you're on a Yoo-Kay stag weekend, then u won't have any).
I was in Kraków, for nine months, so, for me, it is undoubtlessly, the best place in Kraków, i loved their coffees, their music, so, their pictures, i enjoyed a lot there.
Love that place! When I was in Krakow for a month I was there every day. may friend once wrote me an sms saying: "I'm at Prowincja, but something's different - where are you??" You forget time there.
Oh they're both great:) lately I was wandering which is better- the old or new..? The latter's leading for me know (more space) oh but I'm still not sure...haha My friends are crazy bout it. Wondering why...is it the air...or white coffee...:)
Bracka street is where it's at. Always have a good time here. Good crowd, good drinks. What else could you ask for?
