If you can imagine stumbling across a little hilltop bar in the highlands thats packed with eccentric, bohemian characters enjoying a good brew and the odd smoke, then you're close to imagining the charm of this place. Pod Jemiola, which means 'under the mistletoe' is something of a one-off. In summer months there's a very pleasant courtyard that's draped with ivy - it seems like a corner of an old abbey in the South of France. But in winter the bar really comes into its own. Then its one of the cosiest places in town and the owners are unfailing in their taste in good music, be it funk, hip-hop or drum and bass. A classic.
