If you've had enough of the 'old curiosity shop' type decor that's now so ubiquitous in Kazimierz, then this could be just the ticket. Pozytywka is a slinky, modern styled bar that has been drawing a lot of punters of late. If you're into a slamming house vibe then you're sure to feel at home here, with Pozytywka's sleek chrome decor and minamalist cool. During the daytime you can enjoy Italian coffee, then plug in your laptop and catapult yourself into the weird and wonderful world of the Internet. In the evenings the vibe hots up, so order a tatanka and get jiggy with the locals Polish style!

This place has a nice vibe, and they change the theme/artwork every month or so making it a nice place to visit every now and then to see whats hanging on the walls - right now I think it boob pic's in black and white, also they serve Murphy's here cheaper than anywhere else in the city. As for downstairs, well its just like 100 other bars in Krakow.
Strange place Pozytywka. It was blatantly supposed to be a gay bar - there were even 'one-eyed monster' hanging from teh ceiling, and most of the staff are gay, but seems to have attracted a straight crowd - and not a hip straight crowd, you get the impression that if they knew thy were in a gay bar they would leave, but they don't so they don't. The big dancefloor downstairs opened up a new dimension and Pozytywka is actually one of the best places to dance in kazimierz - most bars are drinking venues only around this neck of the woods
Very nice place, the music is great and people who work there are nice. The cocktails are great too!
