Open from 7 am for breakfast, TramBar keeps going until late, with its splendid, but relaxed mix of drink and bar food. Set back from the Rynek on the quiet, pretty Stolarska Street, TramBar is a great place if you're looking for a break from the crowds in comfortable surroundings, but still want to be in the heart of the old town. There are regular exhibitions of photography, which can be seen on the walls, and in addition it is an excellent place to watch sports events on their TV. Popular with diplomatic staff from the nearby American Embassy and French Cultural Institute, TramBar is a good place to stop by at weekends to enjoy one of their organised theme parties. Good service and friendly staff.

This is a great little bar! Friendly staff who recommended Polish vodkas to try (which were really nice!), and it was VERY cheap - we had four drinks for less than £10!!
The article says they have karaoke on Saturday nights. I called and they said they have not had karaoke for 2 years
Hi Dan, thanks for that info. We've updated the article based on your note. We do our best to keep up to date, but as we have thousands of pages of information here, it's a monumental task. We also do rely to some extent on the owners of the bars etc to contact us if there are any major changes to their establishments.

Mmmm, Trambar do a really good coffee! I'm not regretting not trying the hot chocolate with wisniowka now....relaxed, my boyfriend's favourite football on the telly, popular with the locals for a good reason!
For a bar on a street full of embassies, it has surprisingly few foreigners - in fact, it reminded me a bit of the "Cheers" bar, where everyone knew each other's name and the overall atmosphere was really friendly. Also, cheap Paulaner = win!
i defenitely enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of this quite place in central Krakow. when in bar, u've got to try the hot chocolate - recommended!
Sorry but didn't rate this place at all. Bit like a pretentious licenced Wimpy Bar and none too welcoming bar staff.
Good fun on Saturday nights, Bar staff dancing on the bar.. Look out for little
Blonde Polish girl with a great voice
belting out Karaoke songs.
